Authorship - Why I Illustrate

I illustrate because I enjoy the creative process of turning a story in to a piece of sequential art. My love of art and creativity comes from my childhood, since we didn't have a TV when I was younger, I use to doodle for hours to keep myself entertained. In my personal practise I mostly draw human portraits and figures. Anatomy and the science behind living things has always fascinated me and I like to think this inspiration makes its way in to my observational drawings. Recently I have started experimenting with print methods and different mediums, and this is something I wish to continue developing to add extra depth to my work.
